makeup ai is built to be private by default. We don't require an account, we don't track you, and we don't sell your data. This policy explains exactly what that means.
Who we are
makeup ai (the "App") is operated by Tech Nuttiez OPC Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us any time at gargaarav79@gmail.com.
The short version
- We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to our servers.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
- Your preferences and saved looks stay on your device.
- If the App uses your camera, it's only for the live mirror, and those images are processed on your device — never uploaded by us.
Information we collect
Information you provide. The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, email, or contact details to use its core features.
On-device content. Settings (such as whether you've completed onboarding) and looks you save to your lookbook are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This information remains on your device and is not sent to us.
Camera. Some features — like the live mirror — request access to your device camera so you can follow tutorials in real time. The camera feed is shown to you and processed on your device. We do not record, retain, or upload your camera images.
Diagnostics from Apple. If you have opted in through your iOS settings, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized statistics with us (for example, crash reports and download counts) through the App Store. This data is provided by Apple, does not identify you, and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
How we use information
Because information stays on your device, it is used solely to make the App work for you — remembering your saved looks and preferences, and powering on-device features like the mirror. We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own purposes. The App is distributed through the Apple App Store; your use of the App Store is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy.
Data retention
On-device data persists until you delete it within the App (where applicable) or uninstall the App, which removes the data stored by the App from your device.
Your choices and rights
- Camera permission can be granted or revoked at any time in iOS Settings → makeup ai.
- Delete your data by uninstalling the App.
- Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not hold your personal data on our servers, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve or erase — but you're welcome to contact us with any request and we'll respond.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.
Security
Since your data stays on your device, its security is tied to your device's own protections (passcode, Face ID, encryption). We design the App to minimize the data it touches in the first place.
Changes to this policy
As the App evolves we may update this policy — for example, if we add accounts, cloud sync, or analytics. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the App or on this page.
